Frequently asked questions about e-invoicing

Direct answers to the questions that come up most: what an invoice must contain, where your data is stored, and why the tool is completely free.

Frequently asked questions

Is it really free?

Yes — completely free, permanently. There is no paid tier, no premium plan and no ads, no limit on invoices, and no signup or email required. Every feature — batch invoices, all five templates, custom colours, the QR decoder — is available to everyone at no cost.

Why is it free? What is the catch?

There is no catch. The tool runs entirely in your browser, so there is no server to pay for and no data to collect or sell. Running it costs the price of a domain name. And because nothing is uploaded anywhere, there is nothing to turn into a product to sell in the first place.

Where is my data stored?

In your browser only, in local storage on your device. No server receives invoice data — open the network tab in your developer tools and check.

Is the resulting invoice legally accepted?

The tool produces an invoice carrying the Phase 1 fields with a structurally valid QR code. Responsibility for the accuracy of the data and for your business compliance remains yours; check with your accountant.

Can I generate many invoices at once?

Yes — the batch page takes a CSV and returns a ZIP of PDFs.

Why is the PDF text not selectable?

The invoice is rasterised through the browser engine so Arabic letters are shaped and ordered correctly. Use the Print / Save as PDF button if you need selectable, searchable text.

Does it work offline?

Once the page has loaded, everything runs locally. No connection is needed to create invoices or PDFs.

How do I check the QR on a supplier invoice?

Use the QR decoder page: paste the payload or scan it with your camera, and the five fields appear along with format checks on the VAT number, the timestamp, and the VAT-to-total consistency.

Does the tool keep my customer data?

The seller profile and your latest draft are kept in your browser local storage only, and the "Clear saved data" button removes them.
