Disclaimer

This page states plainly what this site is, what it is not, and the limits of what it offers.

We are not an authority

Fatorli is an independent private site. It is not a government service, is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any tax authority, and does not represent any official body. That applies to every authority the site names: the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority in Saudi Arabia, the Federal Tax Authority in the UAE, the National Bureau for Revenue in Bahrain, and the Oman Tax Authority.

For official and binding information, always refer to the authority for your own country and to what it sends you directly: zatca.gov.sa for Saudi Arabia, tax.gov.ae for the UAE, nbr.gov.bh for Bahrain, and taxoman.gov.om for Oman.

The content is guidance

The rejection codes, penalties, waves and explanations published here are a simplification of published sources, intended to aid understanding.

They are not accounting, legal or tax advice, and do not replace a professional who knows your situation.

Rules change

The figures, dates and rates on this site are reviewed periodically, and the compliance pages carry a last-verified date and their sources so you can judge how current the information is.

Even so, rules can change before we catch up. Check the official source before any decision with a financial or regulatory consequence.

What the tool does and does not do

The tool validates format, not truth: that a VAT number has the required shape, that mandatory fields are not empty, that the arithmetic is consistent.

It does not verify that the number is actually registered, nor your customer’s details, nor that your invoice will be accepted. It connects you to no authority and sends your invoices to no one.

Liability

Your use of this site and tool is at your own risk. We accept no liability for any loss, penalty or damage arising from relying on this site’s content or using the tool.
